Asleep in the Field of Dreams
Diamonds in the sand,
Colors of every hue,
Perfect pastel paradise,
Swirling all around you.
Catch them in your hands,
Each liquid crystal drop,
Treasure trove of tasty,
Like peeking in a candy shop.
Touch each one in wonder,
Watch it sail away,
Looking, longing, laughing,
As it paints the day.
Such a lovely wonderland,
Gemstones stuck in time,
Fading, falling, forgotten,
As from your field of dreams you climb…

There´s something here but I´m not sure what but then again I tend to admire poets like T.S.Elliot who dealt in both true metric poetry and ideas.
